We intend to support a sharing of experiences, resources and support, leading to deeper knowledge and connections within our community. Important core values of our group are to create an atmosphere of intimacy and go beyond the traditional knowledge or networking event. We anticipate other discussion topics will include such items as product management, LED lighting, clean-tech funding gaps and finance, global clean-tech startups, China (business in and exporting to), water, shale-gas extraction, energy in development countries, nuclear waste, DOE Loans, to name a few. Our group is an incredibly diverse group of leading women clean-tech entrepreneurs, technologists and consultants focused on the clean-tech sector, and students driving to advance the clean economy. We limit monthly events to 20 people to effectively engage in discussions around relevant topics. Although there are excellent women’s networking groups out there, WICT intends to create space for deeper connections and sharing of knowledge through smaller and more intimate events.
